Alice L. Belcher Library on Family Violence Prevention
On December 1, 2017 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Alice L. Belcher, PhD ABD launched her four-part Library series of books on Family Violence Prevention: (1) Prevention for African American Communities. (2) Systemic Abuse: Revictimization and Unintended Consequences. (3) The Church: Role and Responsibility. (4) Healing People Broken by Violence
Alice L. Belcher, PhD ABD is also a Curriculum Developer, trainer and former Adjunct Professor. 

Alice L. Belcher, researched, wrote and delivered the FIRST best practices curriculum for trauma-informed and culturally responsive care for family, domestic and sexual assault violence prevention for advocates CERTIFICATION ever offered at any institution of higher education in the State of WisconsinThis prevention certification is called the Certification Family Violence Advocate Cohort training certification or CFVA. Formerly known as the CDVA (Certification Domestic Violence Advocate cohort training certification).

Beginning in 2009, Alice L. Belcher, PhD ABD began delivering her violence prevention advocate training program throughout the Milwaukee and surrounding area communities to organizations directly. Alice would later seek partnership with an accredited college of higher education in Wisconsin to expand the training programs reach into the community for prevention advocate training.

Alice L. Belcher, PhD ABD delivered this Certification cohort training in total for seven (7) years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, including her delivering the FIRST domestic and sexual assault violence prevention advocate twelve (12) week certification cohort program of training ever to be offered at any institution of higher education in the State of Wisconsin and in partnership with an accredited college in Wisconsin.  In partnership with a local college, Alice continued delivery of her violence prevention CERTIFICATION training as a higher education CERTIFICATION program offering 40 CEUs and a college transcript until 2016.

engagements as she prepares to defend
her PhD Dissertation in Global Leadership.
